Having won many gold and silver medals in UK competitions we branched out by entering Freshfoods 2003 held in Utrecht, Holland. We won Gold medal with star for our duck and orange pie,game pie and our new poacher pie. What most pleased us was silver award for bacon and black pudding. We had not considered ourselves experts on black pudding but when a customer from Lancashire said it was the best she had tasted we thought we should submit it to professional assessment and were delighted to receive silver.
