Andrew is in overall charge of the farm and butchery, spending most of his time in the butchery. Having been in the food business all his life, he relishes the challenge of the food industry, but often hankers for the green fields of the farm... As you can see from this picture taken at the Royal Show in 2007, he is hands on in both the farm and butchery.

My main responsibility lies with the farm, where I am based day-to-day. I also look after the website and like to get out to the shops as often as possible. As well as the cattle and sheep on the farm we have two heavy horses, Hannah the shire and Melody the Suffolk Punch. Hannah will hopefully be in foal again this year.

Roy is in day-to-day charge on the farm, caring for all the animals plus taking a big hand in all the arable operations. He lives with his wife Emma and two boys, George and Harry, on our main farm just outside Oakham. His house is one of the highest in Rutland, and affords a sweeping view of Rutland and Rutland Water. It also allows him to keep an eye on his stock, as the herds graze in the fields below.
