Extra Mature Beef

 
Much of the beef you can buy online comes from our own home grown herds of Longhorn, Dexter and Aberdeen Angus beef.  We also source from our neighbours in Rutland and Lincolnshire, who finish their beef to our specification, ensuring top quality, locally sourced beef to buy online.
 
We dry hang our beef for four weeks - and often longer - which matures the beef, tenderises it and concentrates the flavour.  Supermarket and commercial beef is often on sale after just a few days, and beef advertised as 'matured for four weeks' is often vaccuum packed to reduce moisture loss (which means you don't get the full benefit).
