Lincolnshire has a rich and varied culinary culture, with many recipes still only produced and eaten locally. We stock typical local products like home cured ham, roast pork, haslet and the famous Lincolnshire stuffed chine, which is unique to this county; it is essentially a cured shoulder ham on the bone stuffed with chopped parsley and cooked. Served cold it presents as attractive pink and green stripes traditionally eaten with mustard and vinegar (some locals serve it with vinegar and brown sugar!). Try this unusual but fantastically tasty product and see if it reminds you of eating jambon persille in France.
Plum loaf is a well known local speciality; Myers is a small local bakery producing one of the best.
