We have an excellent reputation for our pies. We make our own hot water crust pastry using home rendered lard. Our pork pie is produced by coarsely mincing only hindquarter cuts of pork and a simple seasoning.
Most of our speciality pies are produced with an open top, which is then decorated with relevant fruits. Game pie has prune, apricot and walnut. Duck pie has orange segments and walnuts and lamb pie has redcurrants. These can make spectacular centre pieces for a cold buffet.
